    Oaks of Cobden

    Any one played there recently?

I'm supposed to play this weekend. How is the course? Anything similar in the city?

It's very nice. Interesting layout with some natural rock to navigate around. Have not played it this year, but with all the rain and a few dry days, it will be really nice.

I played there for the first time last year and I really like the course.

The course is similar to Casselview + Nation with some elevation changes on some holes with wider fairways. A couple of tight blind tee shot holes (back 9) that you have to be carefu withl. If you play for the first time, watch where your ball lands as it will run off to the side. Greens are nice and rolling smoothly.

I thought the open sky view is really nice on some holes. Nice and relax in the morning with no one around.

    Overall it's worth a drive.

It's always in great shape , a little soggy in a few areas due to the heavy rain , but a very nice and challenging layout , hole 11 & 15 are very tough , almost unfair , but as said before , it's well worth the drive

Great little course----yep--11 and 15 are tough--just play 'manage your game" don't try and be a HERO Well worth the drive.
    Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Played there on the weekend, 8 was playing as as a par 3 due to fairway damage from the rain for the first couple months but it's back open now. Course is in decent shape, some of the fairway on 18 is roped off as well. Enjoy!
