Par 3 12 hole courses are a great idea. They give people a chance to be exposed to golf ..need less equipment, less time, easier to engage kids, less intimidating for beginner, cheaper, learn to play approach shots and around the green right away, less aggravating if weather turns bad, don,t need a cart, may have time for a sandwich after, etc etc...more avid golfers would also play as kind of practice of iron wedge play without having to take 4-5 hours. Easier to maintain etc etc. Easier to run kids golf schools. Still need the land though.
