Pine View's calling my name on the 15th. Plus with the Masters next week let's hope that Spring will cooperate with the intended openings! From the looks of it now though still looks like a long way to go

Napanee Golf Club
Napanee Golf Club opened on Saturday. It takes me 2 hr 15 minutes to get there from the Parkdale entrance to 417. It's a 9 hole course with two sets of tee-boxes to change the length of the holes and the angle of the drives on the second time around. It plays at just under 6,000 yards for 18 holes. It's a course that dates from 1897. Mature trees and hilly terrain complicate shot-making (no earth-movers made this place; the course was "found" in the existng landscape). Sam Snead set the course record in the 1950s. Saturday was a wet walk underfoot. Sunday was much drier. Spring rate of $23 for unlimited play for the day.

I am sure all that rain has not helped as the ground is now clearly 100% saturated, l was hoping to get out before my Florida golf trip on Tuesday so Monday may just be the day.

Ha, they have the opposite problem there, very dry conditions right now which is great for my drives, I may stretch them to 220+ if I am lucky!! We have some pretty nice courses for an average of $36/game, Celebration, both Mission Inn courses to name a few.

Heading out to Casselview Friday and hope conditions of fairways are good. The greens are always mint but fairways tend to be a bit soggy on a few holes. Start of the season so cant be too picky. Have a great time out there everyone.

I spoke to Mark (GM Meadows) and he mentioned that he is shooting for next week but if weather doesn't cooperate, then most likely 21st weekend. I hope we don't have to wait too long!

They have to give RM the OK to open the online booking. Some like to hold off a few days until they are fully open.
