if so did they inform their customers? I should still be on their mailing list (I didn't sign up this year) but didn't see anything, nor have I had any mailings from them since they were prodded to send a renewal email out. I get emails from EG every day (am not a member).
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

What's the big diff between this and EG? A few courses?

They have Loch March and EG doesn't?

that's one. EG has eQunielle, they don't. EG seems to be better run and I have been members of both over the past few years. EG has better last minute deals and great last last minute deals. I think CGX has absolutely zero clue about marketing their product, EG does a great job.

True but in the end it costs less with Golf select than it does with EG unless you only use their last minute deals.

I suppose you get what you pay for. EG's customer service is fantastic. I wasn't impressed with GS.

I cant complain about neither one. Been with GolfXtra since they started on and off. Darcy has been exceptional with us also.

My preference is EG. Corporate turned me off years ago, when phone ins got to book for the first hour, before you could book online. If you did call in, you got put into a long cue, and Bob as an example would call in and take 8 spots and give all his friends card numbers, and then the spots were gone. I am sure it is no longer like that, I hope, but that turned me off CG and never went back.

Yes, that sucked but this is not just Corporate Golf, it is an amalgamation of 3 such companies Reservation Masters, Golf Xtra and Corporate Golf. The result is a very good booking system online or call with a great selection of courses and terrific prices on green fees. I did like EG but now this is better IMHO but I can see how one bad experience would keep one away, it just goes to show the importance of providing great service.
