    club components

    Hi

    I am looking for any or all retailers located in Canada that sell golf club components. If anyone can help it would be appreciatted.

    I tried this company, good prices on clubheads. However they use UPS to ship. When I went to order a clubhead online my shipping quote was $26 for 7-10 day delivery. OUCH!
    If you order $150 worth of clubheads you are ok as they ship for free.
    I find UPS to be the most exspensive shipping method so I try to avoid them.

    Yeah Jim at Kona quoted me a price of $7 shipping for a rescue head. Like I said I shy away from UPS after being burnt for $30 brokerage fees years ago on an item valued at $50 US that was shipped from Detroit!
    Here is another place you can check out components. Located in Michigan, but they quoted me a good price for shipping on one clubhead. I prefer to buy from a Canadian dealer if possible but sometimes you can not always find what you want over here.

    I would buy Wishon Components but they use FEDEX and you also get hit big time for broker's fees. So I use Kona, Golfworks out of Ottawa, Golfsmith out of Mississauga, Golfquip out of Waterloo, Customclubshop out of Mississauga, Global Golf out of Saskatoon. There is one in Kingston but I never tried them.

    BTW I am very satisfied with Jim Klassen from Kona. Great service. Until this year I had only built one Raven club for a friend. However this year I've built a few Raven sets and am quite please with the results.

    Unfortunately, the software we are using always calculates UPS ship rates high. If you are ordering less than $150, place your order over the phone. The shipping rate will be lower. Or even better, order over $150 online and get free shipping and an additional 5%discount. Also, UPS ground service says 7-10 days but delivery in Ontario is usually next day.
