    Removing Grip

Hi I had a general question. Is there any way to remove a grip from a graphite shaft with out destroying it and be able to put it on another shaft? Thanks

    Removing grips

Hi! Just pump solvent inside the grip by using a needle connect to a pumping gun on sale at golfwork and pull the grip of the shaft. You need to inject enough solvent to make it easy to pull the grip of the shaft, more solvent is better than not enough .If you don't have the tools to make it, Chuck Brown will do it for you, it should'n be too expensive. Be carefull cause you can sometime have a hard time removing grips and you may tear one or two in the process.

If it's a $7. grip maybe. If it's a $1. then don,t bother. I would stay away from the pump and the needle for 2 reasons. One it's dangerous and two not worth the investment unless you run a shop. That being said you could get something like this for occasional use.

Also you could use a compressor. Check Stargrip.com and click on tapeless installation

The grip were the Winn Tour Wrap the same ones that sell at GT for $10.99 each plus tax. Just trashed them, oh well.
