    Kanata Lakes

I'm looking for some information about Kanata Lakes.
    How long are typical rounds?
How many rounds a year do they put through?
How tough is it to get an 5pm tee time during the week? Or 7am weekdays?

Any pros or cons about this course? Location is ideal...
    Thanks,
    Rob

The one thing that I really don't like about this course is that you are playing in someone's back yard almost all the way around.

I certainly agree with that. I prefer a course far away from houses, but that puts them farther away from my house, so I'm willing to put up with that aspect.

I'm a ClubLink member and have played Kanata many times.
No idea number of rounds put through but conditions are typically fantastic from tee to green - usually the best of all the local ClubLink courses. Most rounds I have played there are four hours (or less). ClubLink has zero 7 a.m. tee times during the week - my one complaint about the membership. Typically in the summer months the earliest weekday tee time is around 7:45; weekends are where you can get out earlier. As long as you book ahead (one week) you should be able to find a time that suits - just get online early to do it. I don't generally play at 5 p.m. weekdays but have been out there practicing a few times around that time and it seems as though it would be simple to even just walk on as a single.
Practice facility is ho hum. Putting/chipping green and an irons-only range.
    Hope that helps.
