Golf select vs the old reservation masters

Had belonged to Reservation Masters for years and loved their booking system which applied to most of their courses, go to the course and look for the green balls and click, no phone calls no muss, no fuss.
Now with Golf select I find it a nuisance looking up a course, checking for a vacancy, reserving it and then having to call the course for confirmation only to get a busy message or finding out they had no tee times that suited and then having to go back and cancel the reservation.
With so many courses offering real discounts I am thinking of dropping my membership.
Anyone else hate this booking system or is it just me.

I don't mind it but the courses I play all have online systems so I can check online prior to booking my GS spot.

You can still book your tee time on Ottawa Golf and book on line at the course. It works o.k. for me.

I saw that but when i go to Ottawa golf only 24 courses are listed, not the full Golf Select list so that does not work for me.

I agree it is a pain in the butt...one system should work for all courses.
