In all honesty I don't find the shaft to be super stiff. It probably plays somewhere between a stiff and a true X-stiff. It comes with the adaptor so the shaft can always be pulled for something you prefer more. Nothing wrong with the club, I hit some good shots, I've just never been a hybrid guy.
