Played Equinelle this morning and it's in amazing shape! Best fairways and greens I've played this year. Lots of watering for sure.
I wanna go back.

Smiths Falls on Friday. Man that course needs water bad. The tee boxes and greens were good, albeit somewhat slow putting on the shaggy length grass. However a lot of the fairways are dead, like hitting off concrete.

Sand Point (Arnprior) is in really good shape. Did they extend the green on 12 or is it just me?

Don't bother with The Marshes for a couple of weeks as they have punched the greens and right now they are very very bumpy

I played the Marshes on Sunday and the greens were still quite bumpy.

Played Gatineau yesterday---a little disappointed--probably a sign of the golf industry hurting really badly. Played with the %^$% flies--can't something be done---watched the fellas raking the bunkers---don't know what they were raking--there was no sand in them. Greens could have been mowed as well as the rough in some areas----maybe I have just gotten use to EQ--SB-Sorcier and Canadian. Overall opinion is that maintenance has been cut ??? JMHO
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

The Oaks of Cobden has been nicknamed '' Little Augusta '' for a reason.
Course conditions speak for itself.

A big shout out to our ground crew at Pine View! Stellar shape guys...especially, considering the intense summer we have had! Amazing what you've been able to accomplish over such a short period of time. It is so nice to see all your hard work...and we see you out there everyday regardless of weather...provide us with these spectacular results. You continue to give us a course we can all be very, very proud of!

Another huge thumbs up for Oaks of Cobden. Superb condition, very green, super receptive greens, great layout, rolling hills. if you have not tried it it is well worth the drive and the price is right , cart and golf under $40

Lefty---we were also there on Saturday---could not believe the conditions----simply amazing ! Also had a gallery on 18 as I birdied--wedding overlooking the green---they were waiting for the bride and took in my spectacular chip-in
Seriously everyone--it is well worth the drive.Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Great chip-in, I birdied the last as well but it was not so dramatic. I was blown away by the course, now if they were add a few more bunkers around the greens and fairways it would be quite the challenge.
