Vector Pro Power LED is not working but the unit is recognized by the PC. But not...

    Hi at all,

Iīm quite new to this forum. I found because I need some helpwith my preowned Vector Pro with manual lenses.

The Power LED is not indicating the operating or charging mode. Also the two green front LEDīs are only sometimes indicating the operating mode.

But the unit will be rocognized by the PC. So I was able to install the drivers and found the two entries Accusport VectorPro in my device manager.

When I start the software the setup wizard wants me to connect the unit allthough it is connected. So the software does not recognize the unit.

Does anyone has got the same problems or any idea to solve the problem?

    Thanks for any help.

    Regards

    Sinner

One absolute must is to always plug your USB cable into the same slot on your PC....the one you used when you installed the driver . If you plug the Vector into a different slot , you may have to uninstall the drivers and start again.

Also start the software and then turn on the Vector Pro

    I didn't have time for a detailed reply .

The drivers are a little bit temperamental , it's a fairly sophisticated piece of equipment and there's a learning curve .I spent some time trying to get mine to work with XP , Windows 7 and Windows 10 .

I just spent some of this afternoon happily hitting balls in my back yard with a Ģ100 Windows 10 tablet and the Vector didn't miss a shot.

Be patient keep trying it'll be worth it.

    Thanks for your answers.

I have tried several times to get this vector working but wasīnt succesful.

I can connect the Vector th the PC and it is recognized as Vector. If I check the device manager I can see two entries with vector pro.

But when I start the software there is always the message that I will have to connect the vector and the software freezes as long as I disconnect the vector from usb.

And still the power indicator is not working and the two front ledīs are only working sometimes. Could it be that there is enough power to connect to the PC but not to start the unit with the software?

    Does anyone had similar problems?

    Hi Sinner

I haven't had the same problem but it sounds like it could be power related , are you using it with the power supply connected ?

Do you have any way of checking the power supply? chances are that the old rechargeable batteries in the unit won't have enough power on their own.
