So I decided to re-tool the bag this winter spring.

In:
Cally XHot Pro w/ MCS freq'd to 6.2 and Cally XHot 2 Pro 3Deep w/ stock Aldila Tour Green s flex.
Out:
Nike VR Pro 23* w/ UST V2 96gm x flex
In:
Cally FT 21* w/ Fuji Banzai s flex
Out:
Nike Slingshots w/ PX 7.0 soft-stepped once
In:
Cally Tour Authentic X Protos w/ PX Flighted 5.5
Out:
Nike VR Pro II wedges w/ PX 7.0
In:
Cally X Forged wedges w/ stock uniflex
My thinking is, making a much more controlled, and for lack of a better term, deliberate pass at the ball. Not that I couldn't play the clubs and shafts that were in the Nikes, but going with the softer flexes allows me to swing more in control and balance rather than feeling like I have to amp the speed up to get the club to perform. With one range session under my belt, I am liking where my swing is at. Much more consistent contact (still not all shots on the sweetspot, but not as erratic contact all over the face). More consistent ball flight, less lefts and rights (seems miss is more to one side now).
Hopefully get to test my philosophy on the course this weekend. And btw, the 3Deep is an absolute cannon of a club!!!

Sounds promising - hope they're the ones!
Now, to everyone else on here.....what's the over/under on when these latest clubs hit the Classifieds?

Interested to hear how the stiff shafts work for you. I use all x-flex and have been for many years, but at the point where I might be able to get away with stiff as my swing might be better off going a few mph lower
I like to call it a power fade

Are you interested in getting on the Flightscope launch monitor to get a real good check on your shaft selections?

Ok. A little time on the LM can save you some money in the future by not having to purchase/sell set ups that don't quite fit you. If you change your mind, you can always reach me.
