Gatineau greens have really turned out well. Rolling nicely.

Renfrew was in great shape yesterday (opening day) the greens came through the winter beautifully, and the whole course is dry, carts allowed everywhere.

Played the Marshes yesterday. Greens were slow as to be expected this time of year with some signs of aeration and discoloration but course was great overall as usual.

Got to agree with Sakuraba!!!
Played Renfrew yesterday and going back today.
Course is excellent, greens have been rolled and cut and true.
For this time of year and given the cool weather, I am IMPRESSED!

Played Sanpoint Arnprior yesterday....fairways were very green but also very wet on most holes as the whole course is slanted towards the River. Greens had been punched and sanded so greens were slow and not rolling true. Course was in decent shape for this time of year, just not a huge fan of the course in general. Rate was $30 on a weekend which isn't too bad

We are Fantastic at Renfrew! Our greens are so good we have been double cutting and rolling them for over a week. All of our members say we are a month ahead condition-wise. Course is dry as well, only a couple parts of our cart paths that are in the shade are a bit wet.

Falcon Ridge was in ok shape, surprisingly wet and slow greens.
On the contrary Cedarhill was shockingly dry for the most part.
FYI #8 @ Cedarhill is now a 150-yrd par 3. I'm not sure if this is permanent or until the netting goes up to protect that new massive house. They may be reshaping the hole as some of those massive trees have been cut down almost forcing you to aim right if you can't carry over the top.

Played Metcalfe this past weekend, the course is dry and the green is rolling very good.
No damp spots on the golf course. Excellent shape.

Les Vieux Moulins today just because I live 2 minutes away....OMG. horrendous. But is to be expected but why were the traps like concrete and not one trap had a rake anywhere in sight...not that I needed a rake.Deadfall all over the place. But new flags and cups...

Played Grayhawk-Talon...overall course in great shape, greens on the slow side, and bunkers could use some work, but as it is the beginning of the season, no big deal...

Played Anderson links today. The $50 price sucked the fun out of the first round of the year.

Yikes, not worth $50.00 in the summer....let alone in the early spring...

played meadows today. course is in good shape for early may. greens were excellent albeit a little on the slow side for my liking but that's par for the course there. A few tee boxes could use some work. The bunkers were in great shape as well.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.
