Re Grip Question - Orientation of 'Golf Pride' lettering
I just had a few clubs re gripped and noticed the 'Golf Pride' might be a little off.
With my wedges, at address, my lower hand/thumb is lined up with 'Pride' lettering - with my newly re gripped clubs, they are not - the lettering is off to the Right, enough that it's noticeable and potentially annoying.
Questions
1. Is this right? I had my wedges re gripped last year, lettering lines up fine
2. If this is not right - is asking them to 'adjust' the grips reasonable or is it my fault for not letting the re gripper know where I wanted the letters? I was under the impression it was just the way a grip is installed on a shaft - shame on me if I am wrong..
3. Is it possible to re position the grip?
I'm sure I can adjust if necessary - just seemed odd.

I think whomever did the job was a little negligent. Usually the grip logo is aligned with the hosel( straight down the pipe) If it's on the side it will not affect playability but could cause you to misalign the face at address. Take it back and show them. It can be repositioned and you are not in the wrong.

personally I like them to be installed backwards as I don't like to see the text at address as I find it distracting. That being said, if it is installed text up, then they should be straight with regards to club at address
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Bring them back to where you had the job done and tell them you did not specify a" 4 deg.open" install and watch the expression on the guy's face.
This problem is quite common with grip installation as per Chief's comment.
Years ago when ribbed grips were in vogue, you had to be bang on with the install although ribbed grips still exist they are not the norm for OEM's and with the advent on adjustable clubs you are seeing grips with no logos.
