Ball bouncing /sliding off impact screen
Any suggestions on what to do here. On impact the ball is hitting the impact screen, sliding across and hitting the walls. From other videos I'm seeing the ball should hit the screen and drop. Is this an issue with not enough tension? I've got grommets on the left and right sides that are bungieed to angle irons on the walls. The top is hanging really tight on metal wire/rope. And the bottom is just hanging loosely on the floor.
Anyway suggestions?
Thanks

Usually balls bounce because the screen is too tight.

Yes, agreed with mthunt. I have my screen a bit loose and use a 1" metal pipe to secure the bottom to prevent shifting and excessive movement.
I've seen at golftown them using a guide wire to secure the bottom.

Ok. Please clarify how the ball hits the screen then slides across the screen then hitting the wall.

I'm not sure or if I can post a photo here, mthunt, any guidance? I'll post a pic of the back of my screen if I can.
Edit - found it, I'll post a pic
Edit2 - the pic I found wasn't that good, so I'll take another one.

IMO, the bottom of the screen should only drape a few inches onto the floor and not have a bar or wire. What I don't get is how a ball slides across the screen into the wall. Are you hitting straight on?

Ball 'sliding' across screen probably means you are not square to the screen.
When the ball impacts the screen the screen should be absorbing almost all of the kinetic energy if it is stuck directly, ie. at 90 degrees to the screen. There should be no appreciable deflection towards the sides.

I will try to get a video of what im talking about, but lets say i want to hit a cut shot. I wouldn't be square to the screen as id start the ball off the the left and cut it back to center. And I would say this only happens with my driver now that i think about it.
I agree with it being due to too much spin.
