Custom Home Simulator Setup - Dimensions doable?
I am considering creating my own GC2 setup inside of my detached garage. The inside dimensions are 11.5' x 19.5'. The real challenge comes with the height. As you can see in the pictures, there are a number of rafter ties at the very top of the walls. I would be raising them on the non-garage door end to the form of collar ties for a clearance of about 9.5' to swing the club under.
The real questions comes here: I would hang an impact screen on the garage door that would be about 9' wide by 7' tall that I would be hitting in to. Has anyone seen such a small impact screen setup before? I would need to have some foam on the ceiling to stop short irons and wedges obviously. I have included a photo of the garage door below also.
Please let me know your thoughts before so that I can decide on pulling the trigger or not with this amount of space.

You'll be fine in there. Lots of room. Put something on the ceiling to catch shots.

My impact screen is about 7.5 x 7.5 I do have a little larger net behind it. With your dimensions you will be hitting off center.
