    HMT Price

I have been away for a bit. What is the current price for a HMT to connect to the GC2. I am hoping they are a bit cheaper so I can make the plunge!

    Thanks!

I enjoy my GC2 and use it often. I am trying to figure out is it worth the 7K. I am working on my swing (to be more inside to out). Is the HMT worth the price or there other cheaper options?

A used p3proswing. I found it reads club path quite well.

You can get an optishot to measure path and face and speed. HMT gives you AOA, path, face angle ect. It's a lot of money and that's the only reason I don't have one.

This is kind of the club vs. ball data all over again. In this instance, where you are working on club path changes, the GC2 can only tell you what is happening to the ball and from that you have to deduce why that is happening and what the likely path of the swing and club is.

Sensors like Optishot, P3ProSwing and Protee give clubhead and path info but calculate (estimate) ball data.

Cost of the HMT for club data is prohibitive. Cost of an Optishot is quite reasonable. Get an Optishot to help with your swing path changes.

Also for much less than the cost of the HMT, a few lessons could help with the swing change.

I think a camera like the older Casio ex-fh100 showing 120-240 fps and some lessons is great to use as well...

I just got myself the HMT. Can't wait to get it. For me its worth the extra money and I got a good deal adding the HMT as part of the package.

How are you liking the hmt?
As for price I was just quoted yesterday 6300.00 from a foresight rep
    5995.00 from a authorized dealer..
