Club Championship Formats - Survey

Our club currently has its club championship over the 3 days on Labour Day Weekend.
Typically the OVGA Seniors' Intersectional falls on the Tuesday following
Labour Day, which causes some guys to save themselves for Intersectionals by not playing the final round. Consequently, there's been some talk about changing the format to 2 rounds or 3 rounds but spread over two weekends. I was curious to see what format other local clubs use for their Club Championship.

Greensmere. Two rounds of stroke play on one weekend in August, beginning on the Legacy course and ending on Premiere.

My brother belonged to a course in BC where they would they would hold a one-game tournament in the late spring; and then the top 64 finishers would match play for the rest of the summer until a winner came out after five rounds.

Metcalfe is two rounds of stroke play at the end of August.

Pine View holds 2 rounds of stroke play on a weekend at the end of August.

At our club in Buckingham, we hold the club senior championship in July at the same time we qualify senior members for the Sénior Intersectional team.
