Price Dropped Further: Golf Shaft Frequency Analyzer - Club Scout II From Kaufman
I have a barely used shaft frequency analyzer with many accessories for sale.
You can see the full description at: http://www.csfa.com/clubscout2.php
Not only is this a very cost effective shaft frequency analyzer but the shaft clamp is awesome.
The unit sells for $259US plus exchange rate, shipping and taxes.
The accessories include (new price totalling $100 US):
3 tip weigths (454g, 255g, 203.5g)
Extra V block for clamp (supports FM Precision CRC short clampling length technique)
Laser holder and laser poniter
If bought new now it all adds up to $540 Cdn with tax plus shipping and brokerage fees to bring in from the US.
I'm asking $225.

Lowered again to $250.
This is an inexpensive way to get into shaft frequency and you'll have a few months to practice with it before spring.Last edited by depeltea; 12-15-2015 at 10:22 AM.

Hi,
In case any recent viewers of this thread are wondering if the thread is stale I'll just confirm that the frequency analyser and accessories are still available. So far I've been too lazy to branch out and post on Ebay so I'll keep trying here locally for now.

Thanks but trades probably won't work. I've switch hobby focus back to wood-working and do not want to collect any more clubmaking stuff at this point.

Hi Everyone,
I'm surprised this hasn't sold yet, especially at this price. I have been out of clubmaking for several years now though. Anyone have any idea what the likely main reason is for this not selling?
The price seems good to me. You would have to spend a lot more (over 2x) to buy it new.
Clubscout frequency analyzers still sell new.
Are there very few clubmakers who bother with shaft frequency analysis, consideration and matching when club fitting and making?
is there a much better product out there at near this price? Is there a comparable product at the same price new or a lot less used?
Any ideas or hunches would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gary

With all due respect. Couple reasons.
1) Not too many clubmakers here and pretty sure they're are all set up in that regard.
2) Not many will profile shafts unless they have a large stock from different sources and manufacturers.
3) EI seems to be the new trend.
4) Even though the quality of the item is great your asking price is on the high side. I purchased a used one on here for $100 and I also sold one for $150
5) Ebay, Kijiji, Golfwrx or even TGN might be a better option or at least you'll get much more exposure.
Best of luckLive as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

Hi Chieflongtee,
Thanks for the insight. Wow, I'm surprised people will part with these for so little given the new price and the fact they don't really wear or degrade. I'll definitely think about other venues to sell it if I don't just decide to keep it just in case...
