Fall Maintenance

It's that time of year again everyone. The temperatures are slowly dropping and the leaves are starting to change. Fall is here. We are currently offering fall rates it's true, but please be advised that we (and many other courses) have some fall maintenance that is required to be done during the month of October that may or may not impact your round. While it's never a bad idea to ask a course before booking if they are planning any maintenance... we here at Stonebridge hope to keep ahead of the curve and keep you informed about our procedures this month.

Our Fall Maintenance Blog is back for your convenience and we'll do our best to update it as often as we can. It will sometimes be updated to the minute as certain procedures can only be done in certain weather conditions. Currently you'll see that we have started aerating our fairways and cutting fescue, but we all know your main concern: WE WILL NOT BE AERATING OUR GREENS UNTIL AFTER WE CLOSE FOR THE SEASON. That's right... putts will continue to roll true until the final day of play.

We (and all other Ottawa-area courses) appreciate your patience and understanding during our fall maintenance procedures as they are necessary to ensure our golf course continues to meet your expectations in 2016 and beyond.

Hopefully the weather continues to cooperate and golfers are fortunate enough to have an extended golf season. We here at Stonebridge hope to see you out soon to enjoy some beautiful fall golf!
