    Greensmere Legacy

Playing this week... Never played it before...
Most likely playing from the tips...

So I am looking for tips!

What's the course like? Any tricky holes? Things to watch out for?

    Thanks

What you see is what you get. Lots of elevation changes, long walks between some holes. Only real trick is on the second hole. There can be a difference of 70 or so yards from flag locations front to back. If the flag is back right, aim to the right-centre of the green and if you catch the slope it should funnel down into the bowl area that is the back area of the green.

The hole you are describing is actually number 11.

Sorry about that, BC is correct. I was thinking about the old layout.

13HCP here so may not be as relevant to you as it is for me...Keep it out of the bush! That course has no mercy on golf balls. A number of teeboxes are offset from the fairways so you somewhat hit across them. If you aim too short, or draw the ball too much it can easily find the bush. Not a lot of thick rough between the fairway and bush to stop a ball.

Great course though, very picturesque and relaxing to walk, although a long walk. Many holes are surrounded by bush so you get the feeling you're all alone.

    Enjoy!

Use a cart. Distance between holes pretty long. One of my favourite courses
