    Under Age

    Shot my age twice last season at 68, but failed to do it this year at 69. Turned 70 early this month and inspite of a couple of bogeys coming in, scored 67 at Kanata GC, which is the first time scoring under my age.

    The Kanata GC is in fabulous condition with the greens very smooth and putting in the vicinity of 11 on the Stimp, which is obviously conducive to improved scoring.

    Congrats indeed. My game is trending in the right direction so I hope I can aspire to similar scores as I get older. Meanwhile the closest I've come recently is shooting my age (approaching 50) the other day at The Marshes....playing 9 holes.

    Thanks to both of you. It was one of those ideal days where all four of us played well on a superbly conditioned golf course on a beautiful day and we shared a lot of laughs and stories (or lies.)
    The actual highlight of the day was a putt that one of my friends made on #5 that had to be 90+ feet long, that shocked us all. Memorable!!!
