Hawkesbury Golf & Curling Club
Played there last last week for the very first time (afternoon teetime) >> Awesome !!
Course layout .. course conditions .. course staff >> Awesome !!
We had dinner at Le Chateau in Hawkesbury afterwards >> Awesome !!
Already in planning stage for a return trip in a few weeks
If you don't mind a 1.25hrs drive, plan a day and do it
Can't believe in 30yrs golfing i have never been there !! Always thought the 'other' course was the Hawkesbury course until a couple new golf buddies mentioned and raved about this one. HGCC is now added to our league's playlist for next year and has jumped into my top 5 favorites It is also walkable
A great combination of Equinelle and Eagle Creek/Loch March ... walkable & forgiveness with tree lined fairways & hazards.
Naturally IMHO

Absolutely-----played it last year for the first time--friendly folks and a great course.
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

I was a member there when it open. Beautiful course and great design. They pump water from the Ottawa river, so the course is always in great shape. Access to water for a golf course is so important... Happy you guys enjoyed it...
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

I cannot believe that I have not heard more of the Hawkesbury Golf course over the last few years. Played it today based on the recommendations from the posts above....for those of you that have not played this course...you are missing out...what a great layout, fast greens and impeccable conditioning...throw in friendly staff, and above all, only $19.00 fee through Executive golf...WOW..do yourselves a favour and try it out....I am already planning for next week's round back at Hawkesbury.
