What are the options for bending Ping clubs here in Ottawa?

Just wondering what people do when they buy Ping clubs secondhand and want them bent to their appropriate "dot colour". In a perfect world, you'd find the Ping clubs with the right dot colour off the bat and be on your way, but that's a long wait for the hobbits and Paul Bunyan's out there.

Any other clubs, it's just a matter of having them bent to your specs but the helpful colour coding from our friends at Ping can be off-putting later on when you want to resell that blue-dot set that's been bent to red dot specs. And a DIY paint-fill would probably look even worse.

My understanding is that if you send them back to Ping, they'll not only bend them but they'll re-colour the dot for you at the same time. The question I have then is whether or not they'll do that for anyone other than the original registered owner (either free or for a fee) and whether there's a Ping location or rep in Ottawa that you can go through?

Answered my own question - the benefits of jet-lag induced insomnia! Here are the details in case it helps someone else down the road:

I called Ping Canada (1-866-424-7464) and the very helpful young lad there told me that they bend and re-dot the clubs for free, for the life of the clubs, regardless of whether or not you're the original owner. I can drop them off at GolfTown or another authorized dealer and can expect them back in 7-10 business days.

Very impressed, and I feel myself becoming a fan of the brand...

I'm pretty sure Ping will bend and re-dot for any owner for a fee.

From what I have read they typically do a full refurbish when you send them in. Golftown can probably send them in for you.

Les at maxfit golf did it for me about 2 years ago
I had a set of ping G5 purple dot and he bent them to back dot
As for the colour in the dots easy to remove and ad whichever colour you want ( I used black nail polish )
