What are the Best Courses West of Stittsville?
Willing to go as far as Renfrew, or Calabogie if that course is any good.
Thanks!

If you're willing to go to Renfrew, you'll find a neat course that I was sad to have eventually learned that I had played the game for over twenty years and had never played there!

Sorry, but I cannot in good conscience recommend Calabogie.Last edited by justsomeguy; 08-19-2015 at 08:43 AM.

All are great value for the money with the top two being the best in overall conditioning."If profanity had any influence on the flight of the ball, the game of golf would be a lot easier than it is" - Horace Hutchinson (1903)

I've been a member at the Renfrew Golf Club for 15 years, and I am still excited to play the course. Conditions are fantastic this year, and there are great deals on golf and food as well.

Whitetail is a bit of a drive but the layout and conditions are great. I like a lot of the valley courses but find Whitetail to be the most fun and the best layout with exception of starting on a par 3.
Whitetail
Renfrew
Oaks of Cobden
Dragon Fly

Just played Mapleview on Saturday first time. Very nice course. Only complaints would be women's tee was little too forward so played on men's tees and carts could use bit of work. But course in great shape

Look for Renfrew to announce an "out of town" membership for 2016, sometime this week.
$800 plus HST for folks outside a 65 km. radius!!!

Love Timberun up in Lanark, they have a excellent deal right now during weekdays, $35 for 18 holes, and power cart..

Greensmere. Only 5-10 minutes away from Stittsville and two completely different 18 hole courses in great shape!

If you've never yet played on fairways as plush as any carpet..........go try Mississippi.

I recommend Glen Mar. The course is in great shape! Rates are competitive with other courses in the area. The greens are rolling so nice this year. Definitely worth money! Really impressed!
