Best 9 hole after work?
Hey getting back into golf after work, main playing bud has been injured but finally able to get out swinging the sticks.
Was looking for some other options for 9 holes after work...and to keep it at a reasonable cost.
I know Champions Nest (formerly poplar grove) has $15, and usually offers a card to bring it down to about $10 for 9
Pineview is $20 for championship and $15 for executive
anyone know of other great deals, or even mini memberships? any help is appreciated, thanks!"Stop deforestation!" - JB

depending on your location, Lochmarch is about 24$ for 9 after 3:30. Course is in amazing shape.

Thats such a great course, but a little too rich for our rusty game after work......will save the great courses for the weekends and days off!

I have actually played quite a few of my rounds there this year. 1) price is cheap 2) conditions, I find, are better than what you'd expect for that price, comparable to other courses in that price range 3) I find it a fun but still challenging course. Depending on the tees you play, some risk reward par 4s and reachable par 5s.

Played Champions last night, 14$ for 9 holes, guy at the desk had only heard of the buck a hole deal, but didnt think it was in effect...maybe its on weekends only?
They have a card you can buy which brings 9 holes to $10, for $25. Not sure if I will golf enough there to make that worthwhile, but it was in good condition (for the course, greens were great)"Stop deforestation!" - JB

Raceview or Amberwood are my two favorite 9's in the Ottawa area, HM to Thunderbird if your looking for a place to play once the Sun goes down

18 holes for $34-$36 at Stonebridge after 3pm can't be beat, IMO. And there's usually times available every day...but usually after 4pm.

Didn't play it yet (didn't hear about it until last week), but there is a 9 hole course on Mer Bleue road in Gloucester-Orleans area.

I've played it a few times and it has a great layout and it is never busy, unfortunately the owners must not put any $$ into maintenance, the greens (or better yet browns) are the worst I've ever seen, its a real shame cause otherwise it would probably be one of the better 9 hole courses in Ottawa.
