Well I finally decided to throw my name in to get tickets this year. My wife had been doing so for some time and stupidly I never did. I did not get any tournament days but managed to get the Wednesday practice round which includes the par 3 contest.

I am very excited and my wife will accompany me, since we only got the 1 day and may not be able to get any actual rounds on the "market" it may end up being a quick stop on our way to Vegas next year.

Congrats Lucas!!! I happened to win Monday tickets this year. I think we are going to make a stop at Pinehurst while we are down there. So excited.

You too Quinner, we are trying to buy some tournament play tickets but they are a bit expensive so far. Pinehurst is great, I was lucky enough to go there on a Canadian at Par special, it was awesome. I liked #8 the best. The best part of the trip was playing with 2 tiny littel Korean ladies who giggled everytime you said "nice shot" except they were bombing the ball way past us all day long!!! I played #2 but I did not even recognise it since they re-vamped it!

Update, my tickets were cancelled today, my wife had applied as well for tickets before I did but the rules state one application per household. They were very kind when they called but nonetheless I am sooooo bummmmmeeeddd. My wife feels terribly but its not her fault. At least someone else will get to go.

Very sorry to hear that. I applied but have not received any notice that I have or have not been awarded tickets. No doubt I messed up the application process. Again, very sorry to hear about your situation, they actually called to tell you??
