Metcalfe Playing Conditions

Played the 9-hole course at Metcalfe on Saturday morning. The nine and dine is a pretty good deal ($26 for a choice of breakfast or lunch on a limited menu).

The course was in pretty bad shape. 8 of the greens were barren.. and the fairways were pretty beat up. The positive thing was that NO ONE was on the course. We teed off at 8:00 am and had it to ourselves. Since my wife is a beginner, I thought this was a decent tradeoff to make.

Anyone know how the 18-hole run is doing? Hopefully a lot better than the 9.

The new 9 holes which are integrated in the new 18 hole golf course is in good shape. The greens on the other holes are suffering unfortunately but they'll bounce back and be nice soon once again.
