    Question Question for club makers.

What is the difference between ladies clubs and men’s club? I know the shaft is different but is the head different especially in fairway woods and drivers.

I have a Callaway Warbird 3 wood. If I change the shaft for my girlfriend would it be too heavy for her?

I just checked the Wishon catalog and the head weights for their women's clubs are the essentially the same as the men's. They generally have more loft since women tend to have lower clubhead speed.

Since you're reshafting, it will probably be fine.

I have also noticed that most OEM and components also have differences of 0.5 to 1 degrees more of lie for the long irons (3,4 and 5) in Ladies models.
As for fairway woods, there is no difference.
Just replace the shaft with a good quality A/L flex shaft, and it will probably make a good "driver" for her.

I don’t really care about the long irons. I want to make her a good old set of woods to replace all long irons.

    Thanks for the info guys.

My wife has a set of woods and loves them (they're not pink however).
