    Turf for sim room

Anu suggestions for turf? Went to home depot and they sell some but very thin. Said it would have to be glued down (on garage concrete floor) but I'm worried about wrinkling.

For those who have done it what can u suggest?

I want to order raise the turf to the level of my matt which is about 1" high.

I think you may need to use an underlay to bring your turf levels up to that of your mat. In terms of product it really depends on what you want to pay. I bought a putting turf from Cory at par 2 pro that is great, but this was likely overkill. I would set a budget and go from there.

Just had my grass delivered an hour ago! It is 40mm high 3/8" gauge standard outside artificial turf. Looks like 8mm underlay would ideal to bring it to the height of my hitting mat and P3Proswing. It has quite long fibres and they certainly stop the ball bouncing around. Let you know how I get on fitting it.

I got a one off cheap off cut from e bay but I think it is quite a common spec. 40mm 3/8" Gauge 18900 knots/m² Turf

Now I have got it I would not say it is ideal. I can see it is dense and good quality but it still needs a 1/2" or 3/4" rubber underlay to bring it up to hitting mat height or the P3Proswing height. Smaller fiber length would have been better I think.

nope havent done this. actually was just google'ing for artifical turf and i came back to (my) this post. Havent had the time but now it's winter time and i want to use my GC2 without having the ball bounce on the floor in the garage.

i think im going with this http://www.ondecksports.com/Pm34-Padded-artificial-turf unless you have any other suggestions. Im going to go look locally in a few days. What did you end up paying? 2.35 seems like a decent price. its just the shipping that's too much.

I picked mine up from a local carpet outlet. There's pics here on the forums of my setup. I built a 2x4 perimeter framing that is lagged to my basement floor. This gave me a solid surface to staple the turf to
