How about that wind today....
Anyone else take it on the chin with that wind today?
Out at Eagle Creek today and it was HOWLING...
Swirly too - couldn't rely on the direction one shot or hole to the next.
I haven't played in anything like that in a LONG time....

That must have been something else, especially on holes when it'd be in your face. I gave up on a planned trip to the range - can't imagine what a full round would have been like. Was it blowing the putts around as well?

I didn't play or hit a ball today for the first time in weeks... but the wind tonight did inspire this poem.
The Wind.
There is a seaside breeze coming in my window tonight.
It knows I need it to keep away fright.
Fear of losing this little moment makes the breeze seem right.
I've yet to reach my point of demise;
So let it comfort my outside so the inside remains in tight.
Tight to the memory of what was today;
And a reprieve for tomorrow come what may.
So hello breeze for tonight I have you;
Tomorrow you might have me.

Up north... played last night (Monday) in shorts (25C)... this morning (Tuesday) 2C... and tonight we have snow... Just awful!!!
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

Didn't blow the ball off the greens (they were a little bumpy/slow for that) but definitely pushed all shots off line - including putts.
Some really ridiculous yardages tho....like -40/50 yds on a drive or +80 straight down it. Wedges, mid-irons 30/40 yd difference.
I definitely didn't see a poem coming on.....but there it is - well done!

Probably the hardest good weather conditions I have ever played in. Played 36. Second 18 was crazy. The wind never stopped and the directions were constantly changing. It was near impossible to shoot a good round yesterday. Getting a GIR was a celebration on its own.
