I just bought the Sony A7 Mark II and have decided to sell off all the other gear I've accumulated recently - some of it still very high-end stuff(*).

I started off with Nikon, ended up switching to Canon...then I discovered the mirrorless bodies and how well they worked with the many classic manual focus lenses out there via adapters - then it was all over and it's Sony all the way now

That said, some of the best photos I've taken are with my Canon bodies with a focus confirmation M42 adapter and the classic Pentax Takumar 50mm 1.4.

What kind of filters do you have?

A few of the Canon lenses are now sold and the Pentax K-3 went UP in price (still cheaper than the average used price and this includes the kit lens, box, etc. and the shutter count.......is only 224 (rated for 200,000)

I have a Nikon 990 and a 995, also the rare TC-E3 tele-converter for those cameras. If you're a Nikon purist, you'll appreciate how good these cameras were and still are. Some of the best photos I've ever taken were with the 990....amazing, considering it's only a 3.3MP camera but that's Nikon engineering for ya...
