Thoughts on Recoil shafts
Looking for some opinions/advice here guys.
I recently tried the new XRs by Callaway with the recoil shaft(f4)ithink they were 460 but can't say for sure, and really liked the feel and distance.
Here lies my dilemma. I don't want to pay the kind of money GT wants for the set, so i thought that if i get a set of these shafts and put them in my current irons (TM Rocketbladez with 85g steel)it should give me about the same result.
Here is where i need the expertise of the guys on this forum, suggestions, alternatives, heckling, all gratefully accepted.
I don't have club assembly expertise or equipment so all suggestions for alternatives to GT or Golfworks as an assembler would be welcomed as well.
Thanks

Thanks, i actually picked up a half a dozen at GT on sale for 47.99 + tax had them installed last weekend, and hit them yesterday. I have to say i saw a big difference (+10 yds a club) based on one round. Very happy i did it so far, talk to me at the end of the season and i will be able to give a more objective review of the shafts and how they worked for me.

Hi Chieflongtee,
These are the ones he bought!
http://www.golfworks.ca/product.asp_Q_pn_E_US0072
I will have for sale a set from the 5 to gap wedge for sale for $200.00 & these ones are $60.75 a club & are hard to get as the demand is very high even at these costs........I was just fitted into Regular instead of stiff shafts that's why I will be selling them.

Move to the US You are right but you must admit that it's confusing
When I see Canada on top of a page I tend to believe that I am in Canada. Anyway if you sell your pull outs you'll probably end up selling them at $39.99 or less

Callaway has a deal I believe still on that if you buy a set (if you're looking to change irons) you can have a free upgrade of shafts.
FYI: I just bought XR with Recoil Shaft 460 and I love them. Light weight and it lets you really feel the club head when swinging.
I recommend it strongly
