Observations - Golf Channel Amateur Tour – Canada presented by Golf Town

For those that have played the Golf Town Amateur tour in the past, it appears that they have merged with the Golf Channel to offer a new tour.

I wanted to go and play the Glen Abbey event, its a lot of fun to play where the pros play.
I don't think its going to happen.

It looks like they have a membership fee now of $100 and then the event fee is on top of that. To play Glen Abbey it would be $286 total. On top of that there don't appear to be any events in our neck of the woods, except for a couple in Quebec.
Too bad, I enjoyed the events, the organizers were great and except for my mediocre play they were fun.

the GT tour was extremely overpriced for this area as they were charging GTA prices to play for the most part mediocre courses. Except for a couple of events it make little sense financially.
