I played La Belle/Gray Rocks in Tremblant and the front 9 had about 5 greens in really rough shape but rest of the course was solid. Le Geant was looking really good but that didn't help my score any.

Hi kak, yes, the greens were the best I have seen there ever, fast and true, made for a much better challenge. I was disappointed in many bare patches in the middle of the fairways though, very frustrating hitting a great drive only to have your ball sitting on hard pan.

I'm very surprised about your comment about many hard pan bare patches in the fairways, sounds like the fairways at the Gatineau, which is definitely not the case.... when I played the course

Well I landed on spots twice and saw a few more. It looked like they had done something to make grass grow but I guess asking them to rope them iff is a bit much to ask

    EQuinelle on Monday was fantastic
Anderson links (south) nice layout , first time I've played it , I'm not sure what's going on with the fairways , crabgrass everywhere , very poor quality grass , greens were decent albeit a little slow , friendly customer service
At the end of the day ... It gets dark

Gatineau greens are coming along nicely. Improved from last week.

Chambers Bay today fairways dry and hard as rock, very tough to hit an iron, ball rolls 50 -60 yards and funnell in bunkers,

Played Pakenham last night.Managed to get 9 in (Island ) before rain hit.Fairways were a little shaggy but greens were better than last year at this point.Blemishes on a couple of `em but nothing serious...bunkers were raked and nice to hit from.
