Sorry but why anyone would play Moulins 3 times in a week boggles my mind.

Very simple Spud, if you read the posts, it's not worth the big $$$ to play the nice courses yet, Moulins is cheap, spring is about the only period where the fairways are soft, good enough to fine tune the game and it's in town, good enough to start the season. .... Keep on digging Spud.
Mont-Cascades was on the menu today, fairways nice and soft, greens were very nice, but slow no winter kill except a bit on 17th. Carts $10.

Played Casselview today---greens and fairways cut---what a treat for this time of the year. A few dead spots in a couple of the fairways--no big deal--a lot have been re-seeded already---really worth the drive.
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

I played Irish Hills over the weekend. Fairways were a little rough, greens were slow.

Played the Canadian this morning, and it's in great shape. Greens are a little inconsistent, but that's about the only complaint. Played the Marshes on Monday and it was OK. Not in as good of shape as the Canadian, I'd say. And I would have been slightly disappointed had it not been for the $35 GolfNow fees.

Chateau Cartier greens in very good condition, a bit on the slow side. Fairways are good.

Pine View is nice a dry....lush even. Greens are growing in but very fast and tough to hold. They roll true...just need some rain to soften things up a bit.

Played Glenmar this eve , course is in decent shape except for three holes on the back nine whose fairways (part of them) have been destroyed by grubs/skunks , I would imagine they'll be re-sodding them soon though , other than that , not too bad
At the end of the day ... It gets dark

Played Pineview Sunday 10th, conditions are pretty good, some spots still filling from winter, some sprinkler work in some fairways, beautiful bridge in number 12, I am really happy to see this many improvements on this course.

Played Greensmere Legacy last night (May 14) conditions were very good for this time of year. Fairways were lush, not much roll, but not soggy. Greens were a bit slow but hardly any winterkill, and rolled fairly true.
I do have a question for anyone in the know: what kind of grass do they use on the greens at Greensmere?
I'm pretty sure it's not bent grass, but possibly a hybrid cross of Kentucky Blue Grass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia. Anyone?Al Gore didn't invent the internet, but he did invent global warming.

100% agree with Goochy...Loch March was absolutely perfect today. Both fairways and greens are superb. Highly recommended.

Have not played Pineview as yet this year---did they make any improvements other than the new bridge. They said last year they would get rid of all the deadwood and do some ponding---wonder if that was just talk ???
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

le Sorcier Thursday May 21st, #9 par 3 was closed (irrigation work beside the green), but for $40. including the tax with Golf Select, it's worth it. Greens are nice and quick, fairways are nice , a bit hard in some limited spots, but the expected rain will get them perfect.

Did they let you know it's only playing at a 17 hole track when you booked?

That's great news---all the dead trees took away from what could be a nicer looking course---I know looks do not help your game but a pleasant view sure puts you in a better mood
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Gatineau greens are coming along. The aeration holes are filling in but still some winter kill here and there.
