I attend Men's night at Stonebridge and it is quite good. Many prizes and a good format set up by the pro Joe Warner. Usually about 40 to 60 people attend.

Cool. Can you tell me what the cost was? What was included? What night it was?
Thanks

Its Wednesday night. Not sure what it is for non members. It cost me 25 dollars. Usually there is enough prizes for about 3/4 of the players. Food and booze are your own responsibility. Good fun night for all. Maybe call Stonebridge and ask Joe Warner the cost for non members. Hope this helps

On another note, Mattamy purchased Monarch......

Hopefully the golf course gets some better attention or is sold.... I'm still not sure if the 5th hole will be shortened to allow for additional development. That would be a shame........

I'd also be interested in this if anyone gets more details and if it's open to public.

I noticed today they started to bulldoze the side of the 5th hole for more homes. Those homes going down the 5th fairway will be open season for balls... lol

So the black tees are gone.... The blacks move to the blue and so on..... A new tee box might be built for the red tee box. Those homes will I'm sure have lot's of broken windows, probably the worst location on the course to have a house.....

Well, just chatted with them and Mens night has a new format this year...
6pm Shotgun

Well, if it is $25 for members, (what Felix said above in February) it stands to reason that it is $50 for non-members, doesn't it? Includes a cart and prizes, seems reasonable to me for a nice course.

Well, I would agree that it is a nice course. It is probably my favourite public course!!!
But when I compare to another local course that is also what I consider a nice course, and they offer 9 holes with cart and dinner for $48 tax included for tee times anytime after 4pm, I find it tough to justify spending over $70 for a 6pm shotgun with dinner at SB...
To each his own...

If your interested ....
Men's night at The Meadows $39 plus tax , includes cart , 18 holes , dinner and prizes
Not sure if there's a better deal out there
Plus a $50 registration fee (I think it includes year end tourney and banquet)At the end of the day ... It gets dark
