Flightscope X2 - Which iPad Apps?

Hi,

Just about to buy a used Flightscope X2, there appears to be three different Apps available in the Apple App store, these being Flightscope, X2 Skills and VX2. It is not really very obvious what the difference is between the three of them, especially Flightscope and VX2 which look very similar.

Anybody out there got any real world experience of using them in a home/net setting and any recommendations on which you would use?

VX2 is there latest, current app that includes new views of D-Plane data...etc, also includes video integratino. The Flightscope X2 app I believe is old, shouldn't be used.

X2 Skills is the target based "game" app where you can do manually setup targets or participate in the combines.

hi goatbarn, thanks for the reply, have you used VX2? is it any good? also as I am only getting the X2C not an elite, it won't have the video camera, but I am not really sure.

I have not used the app, but it's the best they offer....so....I would think it's good.

Camera integration can be through an iPad as well as I understand it. X2 iPad bracket accessory I think would be useful for that.
