Best mat to use with Optishot

Hi Guys - I am brand new here - I wanted to see if anyone had experience with the following mat -

    http://shop.virtual-...-or-LH-1001.htm

I recently setup optishot to work in my basement. It is fun to play with except for hitting off the base. I am looking to get as close to a regular mat feel as possible. I like the way the linked mat "incorporates" the unit underneath and into the mat. I was not able to find any review of the mat above and I wanted to see if anyone had experience with it. Also if you have used a different product and had had a good experience please share as well.

I am contrasting the mat above with this mat

    http://www.golfsimul...ot-platform-mat

In this mat the hitting area is a full rectangle cut out - I am really looking to stay away from this design.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Can't get your links to work but I'm using a jagmanjoe hitting surface from eBay and very happy with it. I have recessed into my hitting platform.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

    Hi olesbj

This is Bret with Golf Simulator Guys. One of your links is to our mat. For starters, we use to make a one piece mat that has been copied. However, if you catch a club in the sensor area, something has to break. Either you will break your shaft, your wrist or the turf must tear. No turf on the market can take a club impact on the edge and not tear. The point is that 1 piece mats look good at first but the hitting area is very susceptible to wear and tear. When a 1 piece mat wears or tears you must replace the entire mat. That is why we changed our design to a replaceable hitting area.

    Other features of our mat:
    - 2 inch rubber platform
    - 1 inch Tee line turf top
    - Gel insert under the turf top to soften impact and level the surface
    - Pad under the optishot to soften impact.
    - Lock key system to keep mat together
    - Very large mat system 4'x10' on a full mat
    - Universal mat system. If you change simulators, all you have to do is replace the center section which is simulator specific instead of replacing the entire mat. We often have people come back to us who upgrade to launch monitors. They either get a center section that has no simulator cutout or we customize a turf top for them that has no sensor cutouts.
    - This mat can be used with our projecor box
    - It can be used for lefties or righties
    - It can be used with the Optishot and Optishot 2(for those who don't know it is the same hardware)

    Hope this helps
