Knee replacement
A buddy of mine who is 72 but still is very active and plays slow pitch ball and conventional pitch ball in the summer as well as curls in the winter may be on the verge of needing a knee replacement (apparently half knee). He doesn't know anyone who has had one and his concern is that he'll get one and find he will no longer be able to play his sports ever again. He wonders if you can run on it and how hard? Is the range of motion better with an oval or round replacement?
SO anyone out there have one of these knee replacements and other than golf, can you play other sports that requires running or a deep knee bend like curling.
Any feedback will be much appreciated.
