Single car garage hitting bay
Hello all,
The information and pictures provided in this forum are much appreciated.
I'm planning to build a hitting bay in a single car garage. Ideally the net will be retractable, perhaps attached to a track so that it can be pulled away when not in use. My intention is to use SkyTrak when it is released - I'm looking purely for data and not to play simulation courses - with a real feel mat.
With the workbench in my garage, I have approximately 19 feet of depth to accommodate a hitting area. I am planning on using a custom sized net from Westcoast Netting. For planning purposes, how much space would be needed behind the net?
Thanks for any help,
Jordan

The recommended distance is about 18 inches. If you have the room why not go for the extra.

Since the Skytrak needs nothing to measure shots, give yourself 3'-5', why not.
Depending on your ball speed you may want the extra air cushion.
