Announcing Golf Select

I really prefer to see what tee times are available before I book a pass through golfselect, I took the last minute membership but pretty sure I will be going via golfnow for the most part

Golf now is not bad if you like the tee times they offer. Some courses on Golf select are $23 when there are no restrictions.
I'll take the 8h30 tee time at $23 anytime over the $34 golf now at 11:50

First book on GS, the book at the course. Do we have to tell the course when we book that this is a GS booking, or can we wait until we show up? Can we just book online via the course website in the latter case instead of by phone (for the course websites that don't ask if this is a GS booking)? Does the course have to know in advance which bookings are GS bookings?
Could a devious person show up for a previously-booked early morning tee time, show a card, and tell the course that it's a GS booking, or do the courses receive a list of GS members matching the number of GS reservations for the day (sorry; years of work as a tax auditor)?

The golf select hub or home page lists both Stonebridge and Marshes as having 0 restrictions on evenings and weekends however when I called to inquire by phone and thank god I did she informed me there are restrictions at both. This is absolutely unacceptable and is a case of false advertisement to try and lure people in. It needs to be rectified immediately.

Actually it shows restrictions for Marshes bot no restrictions for Stone bridge.

Must have been updated very recently, the marshes restrictions weren't listed before.

Reservation: Rather disappointed that the new system does away with the one-stop shopping and does not permit you to see what is available, without a lot of digital gymnastics. But will give it a try and see if they earn my repeat business as RM did. Tried to (practice) book a round for later this week and could not get past the "buddy" page. What happens if I want to book solo, or with someone that is not a GS member? Cannot get past that page. See nothing in the rules about having to call the course for times, but perhaps that is laid out in the next page(s) which I have been unable to see yet. Growing pains... I hope.

As a long time Reservation Masters/ Ottawa Golf member, I just wish to say Goodbye to Nigel and Dan as we move on to the new site. I will miss booking both spot and tee time with one click. It would be nice if booking a tee time was as easy for all courses as it is for those courses which use the Reservation Masters Software. Good job guys.
