Fall Maintenance Blog (NEW)
Hello Everyone,
Fall can sometimes be a frustrating time for golfers when it comes to courses and their fall maintenance programs (aerating, top dressing, irrigation blow out, etc...). Not knowing what maintenance might be performed on the course during your round can sometimes impact your impression of the overall experience. Please keep in mind that all these processes are necessary to properly prepare a course for winter and the subsequent spring. Many courses offer compensation for these interruptions through discounted fall rates and daily specials.
While we will be offering Fall Rates again here at Stonebridge (starting Oct. 1)... we also want to take it one step further by giving golfers proper golf course information as it relates to our fall maintenance schedule. We have now started a Fall Maintenance Blog on our website. It can be found HERE
This blog will be updated regularly with information about our fall maintenance programs and schedules. Won't it be nice knowing what the course should look like when you arrive for your game tomorrow?
We hope that by offering this information to the public, players will be able to keep up to date on course conditions and plan their games accordingly.
We hope to see you out enjoying the course this fall!Web: www.stonebridgegc.com Twitter: @StonebridgeClub Facebook: www.facebook.com/StonebridgeClub

Really cold round at SB today. Greens are in very good shape for this time of year and fairways and tee boxes aerated and sanded.

They were blowing the irrigation lines at Pine View yesterday. However, the course remains in absolutely FANTASTIC shape - tee to green!

Glad to hear the positive responses from this idea. We are considering keeping the maintenance blog open during the entire season next year if it's seen as a good resource. Otherwise it may only be used during times we are planning any major work to the course (aerating greens/fairways, reconstruction projects, unforeseen challenges, etc...).
