Negotiating strokes in match play
Player A has to give player B 14 strokes.
Question 1
Player A says no strokes on par 3's Player B agrees. But according to the card one of the par 3's should have been a stroke hole. Is this legal or do players have to use the card's hole handicap ratings?
Question 2
Play is suspended in the match after hole 16. Based on the original agreement a stroke is owed on both holes 17 and 18. Just before the match is restarted Player A gets Player B to agree to only getting one stroke. So the original 14 strokes is now going to be 13. Thought?
