Can someone check the microphone on their Vector Pro for me please?

I looked at my Vector Pro microphone; it looks like it sits around 1” from the case opening. Can someone take a look at his/her Vector Pro and confirm that the microphone is really that far back?

When I look into the opening for the microphone, I can see the circuit board with the microphone mounted on it. There was nothing connecting the front case opening to the microphone, no wall, nothing.

That is the way it looks on mine. When I did use mine the short period of time, it registered ok for full swing impact shots. So any chip shots would not be loud enough but irons and woods were ok. This was with micro lenses but that should not make any difference.

I never tried to boost the sound to answer your other posted question.
