What the chances?
Lost my rangefinder early in the spring, most likely at Lombard
While at Stewart park festival I Perth this weekend ran into a friend who convinced me to golf at blue Herron near lanark(nice but to easy).
Never been there before
After teeing off, third hole I think,my partner says"what's that on the path ahead"
My reply"a range finder just like the one I lost"
Inside the sleeve,my name

Was that playing partner there with you when you lost it? Sounds like a crazy coincidence.

|You know what they say---"what goes around -comes around"---you must have turned in a lot of lost head covers for that to happen
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

First time I have ever played with him, first time I have ever played the coarse, first time I ever walked down that path, even a different bag from when I lost the range finder,no one but me knows where the name was.
I have personally turned in dozens of wedges ,head covers etc over the years and was disappointed when my rangefinder was not turned in as it only took two holes for me to notice it missing, asked the foursome behind us and asked at the clubhouse each round for several weeks after losing it.

I am playing crowbush in PEI right now. Just found a ball with the Stonebridge logo on it
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Lord of the Rings -- It was no coincidence that Bilbo picked up the Ring of Power. It had ways of getting to the owner who could best advance its own plans. Be careful of that rangefinder.

Unbelievable...
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

If you think about it, the person who found and decided to keep your Rangefinder.........must have been playing just a few groups ahead of you that same day!! Otherwise, it would probably have been picked up by someone else in the meantime (hopefully to go into the lost and found back at the clubhouse).

Would be interesting to cross reference the tee sheets from the two courses on the days you lost and found the rangefinder to see who was in the groups behind you on the day you lost it and who was in the groups ahead of you on the day you found it. Then post his name here so we can find out where he lives and put a bag of burning dog pooh on his front porch.
