    Tremblant Golf

Other than Gray Rocks, Diable and Geant, are there any other golf courses within a 15-30min drive of the Grande Lodge inTremblant worth playing that is reasonably priced (a bunch of non-golfers, so paying $80-100 isn't high on their to do list)?

Thx. I was aware of Manitou, but for the actual avid golfers of the group, didn't want to play it. I will check Laurentian out, thx.

Jeff- the Royal is a nice course---not extremely hard but worth the money---I have played it several times and it was always in top notch condition---I think the afternoon rate with cart is around 65.00---before 10:00 is for members--prime is 10:00 to 1:00

If you end up playing---give us a condition report---16 of us planning a trip late August.
    Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Just came back from a package Royal Laurentien offered at the the golf show....3 rounds, 2 nights, breakfast for about $300. Excellent value. The course was in great shape and we went out every morning at 7:30 and had the course to ourselves. Lots of nice landscaping and different holes with different elevations. Like others said, lots to do in the area as Tremblant is only 20 minutes up the highway and we had a couple of nice dinners in St. Jovite which is even closer. One day we played Royal Laurentien in the morning and Le Maitre in the afternoon.

Le Maître is rated in Score Golf as the 35th best course in the country. It is in excellent shape and has lots of long, large sand traps like eQuinnelle and Stonebridge. Very nice rough to shoot out of. I shot an 89 which is very good for me because I happen to have hit a lot of fairways and you get good length on them. I asked at the desk when they close and I believe it is around the end of September. You should call and find out the closing date. Personally I prefer Le Geant because of its high elevations. I was surprised how flat Le Maître is, more like the front 9 at Le Diable.

They've extended my certificate until the end of May next year. However, will try to get up before closing as it is currently in pristine condition, I hear. tx all!
