    Cabot Links

    I will be in Nova Scotia for a couple of weeks and I am toying with trying to get a twilight round in... The problem is, its a bit far from where I am staying. The resort on the golf course is $300/night and that just isn't in the budget.

    Any chance someone knows of "that great little spot to stay" that is a short distance from the course and a reasonable price?

    Try golfcapebreton.com. I believe they have a package for a round +. A night for $275, double occupancy.
    Gimmie: agreement to concede short putts between 2 golfers, neither of which can putt very well.

    There aren't a lot of options in Inverness. I've heard good things about the MacLeod Inn, a small B&B that's only a few minutes away from the course. I don't know what you consider close, but I stayed in Cheticamp last week and played Cabot. It was about a 45min drive to the course early in the morning. There are lots of reasonably priced places to stay there. You could also look in the Margaree Harbour area (try the Duck Cove Inn). That would only be a 20-25 min drive.

    Primetime is $185+tax. Twilight is $105. There are other rates if you are a guest at the hotel or a Nova Scotia resident
