Need suggestions! Simulator cage with minimal impact on my indoor basketball court
Hi All,
Been a while since I posted. I bought a GC2 a few years ago and have been enjoying it outdoors only at the driving range (club uses real balls and not range balls at least).
I'd like to now build a year round set up, but I don't want to take away from the functionality of the indoor half basketball court to do so.
I was thinking of building an impact screen about 1 foot off the wall at the top of the key, and using a mat that I can carry on and off when I want to hit golf balls, so when we play basketball it isn't in the way.
Do I need the protection on top and around the screen though? I'm a single digit handicap and don't really shank shots, but I'm sure we'll have a lot of guests playing on it and do want to protect my walls.
Any thoughts on how to do the projector? I need some sort of mechanism that would allow it to swing out for golf use, but swing in and hide during basketball use so it isn't destroyed.
Here's pictures of the room, and thanks for the input. I'm open to all suggestions!

Have the perfect idea for you. Go to foresight sports Twitter page. There was a tweet made on February 27. Look at the picture, I think it would be exactly what you're looking for.

Whoa Jgregg it folds into the wall?! That is EXACTLY what I need! I would just need to figure out the projector.
DFDbubb those indoor courts are all the rage in new construction right now, it's getting impossible to find a house without them. Our builder puts them in over half of their houses now.

Yes, folds right into the wall. IMO, exactly what you need for your excellent space.
