Wow! 2 big changes this week

1-I would just like to thank Dan for resolving the incident this week about Post bashing and forum etiquette. Hopefully we eventually can go back to replying on posts but for the time being. If nobody plays fair then nobody plays at all rule shall apply.

2- And also thanks for creating the Lost/Stolen section in this forum. This will hopefully sway people from hawking stuff that is stolen and or "lost". Big red flags go up if identical clubs are on Forum in two seperate posts.

I agree with ending the post bashing 100%,

but I find a couple of times when I post a fair and balanced critique of a store or course with 'just the facts', it ends up getting deleted. It's almost as if the board is afraid of letting people air out justifiable complaints.

I applaud the pro-active stance taken by OG Forums in regards to stolen / lost clubs, but would again ask that the ability to respond to posts in the "Wanted To Buy" section be unrestricted.

I don't know WHAT I'm looking for, just know I want some cheap but decent wedges. PM is fine, but I'd like to allow people to talk openly in my thread so I could get an idea of WHAT is good and WHY.

He and I have a few things to discuss prior to reopening the replies.

Please treat him with respect. I don't want him to get raked over the coals for being "unfair". Unfortunately most people who have a post edited think it is very unfair. Clear rules only help so much.

What we all want is a place where people can come and feel welcome, not be intimidated, flamed, ridiculed, abused or scammed. Should not be that hard

I did. I stated only facts, not a blanket "this course blows". I believe I clearly indicated on a factual basis why a facility was being less than ethical / honest. The mod obviously felt otherwise.
